Bakin' with Santa

I have decided that my cooking adventure does not always have to be a solo expedition. It is a cliché, but food really does bring people together. Not only that, you can pick up some great tips and learn some new tricks while you are at it. And whenever you cook that particular recipe in the future, you will always think of the person you originally cooked it with and remember what a great time you had that day.

In which I make Sweet Chilli Jam and end up with Sweet Chilli Sauce...

I'm not sure if you could call this a happy accident, I mean, I was setting out to make my first ever jam and ended up with sauce. I don't know if it was the recipe not being specific enough or the fact I cut down on the amount of sugar in the recipe (I am a rogue, I know it), maybe I was too impatient and didn't cook it long enough or maybe it just wasn't my time to make jam...
