Hi everyone! Here is my week that was:
I decided that it was time for the garlic to come out the other day. I planted six but there are only five pictured here - I'm not really sure why, but I suspect it was either still in the dirt, or I dropped it. They are currently hanging up to dry and I cannot wait to try them. As you can see, two of the bulbs are tiny! I can't explain this, maybe they were too crowded - I don't think they would have grown any bigger...
My Mum made a batch of limoncello for me! It is made from some beautiful, home grown lemons and tastes unbelievably smooth. When we went over to our friends house for movie night I mixed it with some sparkling wine. Yeah, this was a good move. I'll put up a post for the limoncello next year.
The movie choice that night was Swingers. I cannot believe that I hadn't seen it before and I loved it! "Vegas baby, Vegas."
I had a relaxing day of hanging out and cooking with my friend Sarah. We ate this plate of veggies and felt very virtuous. We felt that it cancelled out the effects of the dip we also consumed...
I have a recipe coming up next week that I hope will help you (when you might be feeling a little seedy on New Years Day) - but for now it is peace-out from me.
I hope you all have a fantastic holiday!
Your week was pretty amazing huh??
