My Week That Was....

The Christmas tree in Martin Place, Sydney.
I walk past this every morning and evening, it makes me so happy to know that there are only a couple of weeks left until Christmas and holidays.

Mum brought me some eggs from Orange.
The smaller eggs are from younger chooks still trying to find their laying groove. I love all the different shades.

A blanket from Mexico in my brothers house. He was there a couple of weeks ago and we were catching up. The colours make me so very happy..

Roasted white nectarines with a little vanilla sugar and rose water. This was part of a recipe for a future post that still needs some work.

Sunday Japanese lunch with my friend in Neutral Bay. The king fish carpaccio was amazing.

Hope you all have a fantastic week!

  2. I've got a similar coloured blanket to your brothers that I picked up in Peru. The carpaccio really was amazing, and the tataki!

  7. Hehehe.. "younger chooks still trying to find their laying groove" As much as I am excited for the festive season, I don't want it to end because I know on the other side of it will be a month of pain! :( Loving the new site banner

  8. Only just put my tree up, so is now starting to feel like Christmas. I agree with Phuoc, don't want it to be over as the year starts again on the other side!
